Organic Valley, a US cooperative of organic farmers, last week said that a further 19 MW direct current (DC) of solar capacity will be built as part of a community solar partnership unveiled last year. Organic Valley created the community solar partnership with the Upper Midwest Municipal Energy Group (UMMEG) and OneEnergy Renewables to construct over 12 MW of solar installations in Wisconsin and become 100% renewables-powered by 2019.
