The effects of climate change on our lives and economies have become unavoidably apparent. In 2021, the third assessment report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) observed increased warming of the Earth’s surface caused primarily by human activity, with projected increases to rising sea levels and the frequency of heat waves.
