JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd., one of the world's largest and most innovative solar module manufacturers, announced today that the maximum solar conversion efficiency of its large-area N-type monocrystalline silicon solar cells reached 25.25%, establishing a new world record for large-size contact-passivated solar cells. The National Institute of Metrology in China has independently confirmed this result ("NIM"). JinkoSolar has beaten this world record three times since July 2020.
