EDF Renewables North America and Shell Energy North America (SENA) have signed a 15-year power purchase agreement (PPA) for the energy and renewable attributes of the Maverick 4 Solar Project, a 100 MW AC tranche of the Palen Solar facility. Enel Green Power Brazil has announced the operations of the 475MW section of the Sao Goncalo solar PV plant in the Brazilian state of Piaui. Looking to diversify its primarily fossil fuel holdings, Royal Dutch Shell is again investing in solar power by buying a stake in a US renewable energy firm.
