EDF Renewables Enters Nebraska Wind Market

EDF Renewables North America has entered an agreement with York Nebraska Wind Partners to acquire the entire interest in the 300-megawatt Milligan 1 Wind Project located in Nebraska, marking the renewable energy developer’s first project in the state. The seller is a joint venture comprising Aksamit Resource Management and York Capital Management. Milligan 1 Wind is currently under development in Saline County in southern Nebraska and is slated for completion in late 2020. Once finalized, it will sell its generated energy and renewable energy credits (RECs) into the Renewable Power Pool, the founding member of the North American Electric Reliability Corp.
