Solar panel installations 101: Choose accredited installers to avoid sub-standard work
Energy Matters | May 27, 2019
The ABC reports that Clean Energy Regulator (CER) data shows potentially tens of thousands of sub-standard solar panels installed on Australian rooftops. Non-accredited solar retailers operating within the industry using sub-standard products are the problem.A CER audit late last year showed that around one in six solar installations was sub-standard. It also found that approximately one in 30 were unsafe.
It’s a problem easily overcome by choosing a solar source like Energy Matters, which has Clean Energy Council accreditation. All Energy Matters installers are CEC-accredited and use approved quality solar panels and battery storage systems.
