Standard Solar to buy 27 MW of DG in Rhode Island, New York

Standard Solar Inc has inked a deal to buy 27 MW of distributed generation (DG) solar projects in New York and Rhode Island from Freepoint Solar LLC. Rockville, Maryland-based Standard Solar will acquire a total of three projects in Rhode Island with a combined capacity of 13 MW, plus two community projects totalling 14 MW in New York. It did not say how much it will pay for the assets.
