Itek Energy

Inspired by the challenges our world faces through a dependence on fossil fuels, John Flanagan–Founder and CEO of Itek Energy–envisioned providing the world with a clean energy alternative by investing in a solar photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturing facility. Itek now has over 80 employees, and is building over 2 MW per month. At the end of 2015, Itek Energy built and shipped over 44 MW of clean, renewable energy–enough to power over 4,250 homes.

Solar heat for cities the sustainable solution for district heating

Infographic | December 19, 2019

SDH is a large field of solar thermal collectors supplying solar energy to the heat network of a neighbourhood, a village or a town. This field is supplemented by a heating centre, which provides additional energy to meet all the heating needs of connected residential, public or office buildings. The heat network can likewise be supplied with surplus energy of collectors installed on the roofs of those buildings.

The new energy era’s

Infographic | December 13, 2019

The world is rapidly shifting to renewable energy technologies. Battery minerals are set to become the new oil, with lithium-ion battery supply chains becoming the new pipelines. The U.S. economy ground to a halt when gas prices soared during the 1973 oil crisis—altering consumer behavior and energy policy for generations. In the aftermath of the crisis, the government imposed national speed limits to conserve oil, and also demanded cheaper, smaller and more fuel-efficient cars.
