Wind is one of the most abundant sources of naturally occurring energy. Wind power is defined as the generation of electricity from wind energy. Jersey Atlantic Wind Farm Opened in 2005, this is NJ's first wind farm. It produces enough energy to power approximately 2,500 homes! A wind turbine is like the propeller of an airplane. The blades can pitch and turn according to the changes in wind direction.
