The Evolution of Solar Energy

The Swiss scientist Horace de Saussure was credited whh building the world's first solar collector. This is later used by South African Sir lOhn Herschel to cook food using solar energy on his South African expedition. The evolution of large scale solar energy plants occurs around this time. In fact, by 1999. the world, largest plant was generating more than 20 kilowatts.
