Combining solar power and energy storage technology is becoming an increasingly attractive approach to help commercial and industrial (C&I) energy users reduce energy spend. In fact, many C&I energy users have access to financing options that provide access to this technology without making an upfront investment.

Topics include the RFP process, using section 4217 for sole source projects, financing projects through public funding or private power purchase agreements, negotiating energy procurement contracts, changes in net energy metering and time of use on rates and the impact on cost savings.
