The State of the Industry Webinar, a quarterly series moderated by the American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE) and Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF), offers the latest intelligence and analysis on renewable energy markets, finance, and policy. This webinar will feature industry insights about the new Administration's plans for the energy industry, as well as a discussion of changes we expect to see in the legislative landscape, and what these developments mean for renewable energy growth and investment.

In this webinar, John Moore, Director of the Sustainable FERC Project at NRDC, discussed some of the issues currently before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the regional markets it regulates, including the potential threats for state RPSs and related state energy policies. Among the issues he discussed are the increasing tensions between state and federal energy policies, energy storage, resilience, aggregation of rooftop solar and other distributed energy resources, PURPA, and transmission planning.
