Corporate leaders face mounting pressure from investors, customers and regulators to decarbonise operations, assets and infrastructure. However, progress is slow; according to the Infrastructure Transition Monitor research, commissioned by Siemens and conducted by FT Longitude, only 30% of companies globally (out of 1,400 surveyed) reported significant advances in decarbonisation or electrification of core processes, and just 37% cited improvements in the energy efficiency of their buildings and facilities.
