Nonimaging Optics: Efficient Design for Illumination and Solar Concentration Conference

August 1-5, 2021 | USA

Nonimaging devices substantially outperform conventional imaging lenses and mirrors in these applications, approaching the theoretical (thermodynamic) limit. Nonimaging design methods usually involve solving ordinary or partial differential equations, calculating the flow lines of the ray bundles, coupling the edge rays of extended sources and targets or optimizing a multi-parameter merit function computed by ray-tracing techniques. While geometrically based, the design fundamentals have been extended to the diffraction limited and even sub-wavelength domain.

International Conference on Offshore Renewable Energy

August 26-27, 2021 | USA

The International Conference on Offshore Renewable Energy conference will cover areas like issues and see how these developments are applied to various types of offshore renewable energy projects.

Solar Conference

August 3-6, 2021 | USA

The Solar Conference moving north to Boulder, a city with a progressive sustainable energy vision, to continue the conversation on maximizing renewable energy, and to forge pathways for communities in every state to follow, in achieving renewables-driven electrification, climate resilience, and clean-energy driven opportunities for all.

Annual National Solar Conference

August 3-6, 2021 | USA

The American Solar Energy Society is dedicated to helping America work towards the goal of a 100 percent renewable energy society. Attendees of this conference also support this “greening” of America regarding the decreased use of fossil fuels and increased use of renewable energy sources, and the potential positive impact renewable energy use can have on the larger issues of climate change.

Solar Energy Systems Conference

August 4-6, 2021 | USA

AIChE invites representatives from academia, industry, and policy making and government organizations to participate. The conference will provide a forum for the exposure and exchange of ideas, methods and results in solar energy science, engineering and engagement.
