AT&T Harnessing the Strong Winds of Renewable Energy

One of those corporations is the telecom giant AT&T, which over the past 12 months has purchased 820 MW of wind energy enough to provide electricity for more than 372,000 homes annually. While the political winds in Washington, D.C., and particularly those emanating from the White House, do indeed appear to be buffeting the renewables sector, Shannon Carroll, director of global environmental sustainability at AT&T, said that doesn't mean corporations have abandoned their long-term sustainability plans.
