EnSync Energy sells solar-plus-storage PPA in Hawaii

US distributed energy resources provider EnSync Energy Inc (NYSEAMERICAN:ESNC) said Thursday it has sold a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) tied to a solar-plus-storage project in Hawaii. The company, doing business as EnSync Energy Systems, inked the particular PPA with Kona Brewing Company in August 2018 and is now selling it to an undisclosed investor. The contract relates to a 336-kW roof-mounted photovoltaic (PV) system with a 122-kWh battery that will be installed at the beer company's new brewery in Kailua Kona early next year.
