Spain’s Holaluz grows revenues, customer base in FY 2018

Spanish utility Holaluz posted revenues of EUR 180 million (USD 204.1m) and positive earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) in 2018, underpinned by the 65% increase of the customer base. Holaluz, a company that sources its electricity from renewables, said Wednesday that it had 180,000 customers in the Spanish market at the end of 2018. For 2019, it plans to grow this list to 350,000 and to generate EUR 350 million in revenue, while in 2020 its top line is seen at EUR 800 million.
