Svea Solar Signs MoU with Azelio to Develop Projects Using Energy Storage Coupled to Solar PV

Azelio and Svea Solar have signed a MoU to create projects utilizing Azelio's long-span energy stockpiling, TES.POD®, coupled to PV frameworks. The joint effort will range over at any rate 3 ventures in 2021, 5 tasks in 2022, and 10 activities in 2023. A sum of 8 MW of introduced force and in excess of 100 MWh in comparable stockpiling limit.

Svea Solar is Sweden's biggest solar PV installer. On the side of extending its business contributions into the energy stockpiling fragment in Sweden specifically and Europe by and large, a cooperation is started with Azelio, as a designer of long-span energy stockpiling.

Azelio's stockpiling arrangement, TES.POD®, stores environmentally friendly power in reused aluminum. The energy can be dispatched on interest as power and warmth during the dull hours and on occasion during the day when direct creation isn't adequate.

"I am proud to initiate this collaboration and glad that Svea Solar wants to address the energy storage segment together with Azelio. Our solutions complement each other perfectly, extending the use of renewable energy for all hours of the day", says Jonas Eklind, CEO of Azelio.

"Svea Solar is leading the power shift towards renewable solar energy in the Nordics. Together with Azelio we will proudly offer a superior long-duration storage solution. This is yet another great step towards sustainable living through innovation for customers across Europe, says Erik Martinson CEO of SVEA Solar".
