Green Hydrogen Summit North America

February 28-29, 2024 | USA

Green hydrogen is currently enjoying unprecedented political and commercial momentum, with the number of policies and projects expanding rapidly over the last 12 months. The launch of the Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs program includes up to $7 billion to establish hubs across America, but key questions remain; how do we produce clean hydrogen at the volumes needed to support this burgeoning ecosystem, at comparable prices to gray or blue Hydrogen? And who are the potential users of green hydrogen? To answer these questions and more, the Green Hydrogen Summit North America is coming to Seattle as the premier event to inspire and educate delegates on how to take advantage of the opportunities green hydrogen will offer financially and environmentally, and to provide the connections to make projects possible. Seattle is the perfect location for those looking to take advantage of the burgeoning hydrogen economy, with the North West Hydrogen Hub being moved onto the next round, this will add significant momentum to the hydrogen in the region. Our unique audience includes potential industrial hydrogen users, energy suppliers, project developers, debt providers and investors, utilities, gas TSOs and government officials. The event goes beyond simply focusing on hydrogen and explores the role of other derivatives and P2X applications; biofuels, e-fuels, and green ammonia all have their part to play in the transition to decarbonization. Don’t miss out on the definitive event to capture the financial and environmental opportunities of Green Hydrogen, and beyond.

Accelerating the Transition to Sustainable Infrastructure 2024

January 15, 2024 | Switzerland

Corporate leaders face mounting pressure from investors, customers and regulators to decarbonise operations, assets and infrastructure. However, progress is slow; according to the Infrastructure Transition Monitor research, commissioned by Siemens and conducted by FT Longitude, only 30% of companies globally (out of 1,400 surveyed) reported significant advances in decarbonisation or electrification of core processes, and just 37% cited improvements in the energy efficiency of their buildings and facilities. Given that buildings alone contribute nearly 40% of energy-related carbon emissions, there is a large gap to be filled on the road to net zero. Economic crises and budget constraints, as well as a lack of standardisation and alignment on priorities, are challenging efforts to bring about swift and meaningful change. Innovation and collaboration are required to accelerate electrification and to ensure that infrastructure across grids, buildings and transportation is efficient and resilient enough to meet sustainable goals. This reception and panel on Accelerating the Transition to Sustainable Infrastructure, hosted by the Financial Times, in partnership with Siemens, will bring together leaders who are working to bridge gaps in decarbonisation. The discussion will consider the technologies, cooperation and alignment needed on the path to net zero to advance efficiency gains and speed up electrification across corporate and industrial infrastructure.

Solar Finance & Investment Europe Summit

January 31-February 1, 2024 | UK

The UK and mainland Europe is targeting Net Zero by 2050. Realising this target would require current annual investments in clean energy to triple each year resulting in over 1 TW of installed renewable capacity by 2030, of which, solar would represent 50%. This necessitates an unprecedented scale up of capital markets, finance innovation, European grid infrastructure, solar development platforms, equipment procurement, storage deployment and installer capacity. The solar industry is in unchartered waters – allow us to be your guide. Solar’s pivotal role in Net Zero and decarbonisation ambitions, presents a near bottomless pool of opportunity available for investors, developers and European offtakers who are savvy enough to navigate current headwinds. Returning for its 11th year, Solar Finance & Investment Europe Summit will bring together the brightest minds representing funds, banks, developers, utilities, government and industry across Europe and the UK on a programme that is solutions-focused from top to tail. The event is designed to enable leaders at the forefront of solar investment and deployment in Europe to scale, learn and land themselves industry defining partnerships. We will showcase the latest insights on European markets, solar-related technologies and winning strategies from the best in the business. Join us in discussing next steps for the industry.
