The 174MW Galway Wind Park, co-developed by SSE and Coillte in Connemara’s Cloosh Valley, is Ireland’s largest and best performing wind farm, generating more green energy than any other wind generation site on the island. Galway Wind Park, as Ireland’s largest wind farm will make one of the most significant contributions of any renewable energy development toward greening national energy and decarbonising power generation across the island of Ireland.
