Renewable Energy from Gasification

EnviroPower Renewable, Inc. (EPR) is developing projects in the US and overseas that will provide baseload generation of electrical power from refuse derived fuel (RDF). These projects range from a 12 MW power plant that will be fueled by combustible refuse on a Caribbean island, to a 100 MW plant fueled by renewable biomass only. The latter Facility, located in North Las Vegas, Nevada, has recently secured California Energy Commission precertification as a renewable energy source.

Better Plants 2021 Progress Update
